Lani Soccer

As soccer season comes to a close, I want to celebrate the joy that both Lani and Emma had this season.   It was Lani's first year in U4 AYSO and she had a grand time learning the basics and just being out in the field.

Peach Picking @ Brentwood

Emma's favorite fruit is peach so we went peach picking at Brentwood, CA in mid July.  It was over 100 degrees and super hot!  We lasted about 15 minutes.   We did have some amazing Mexican food for lunch.

July 4th BBQ

Our annual July 4th BBQ was filled with yummy food thanks to Chef Toguchi and lots of sparklers for the lil ones.   We had both Emma's preschool and kindergarten friends.   Fireworks seem to be later this year (started around 9pm) and it was a late night with everyone tired the next morning for school and work.

Monterey Aquarium - July 2017

We took a day trip to the Monterey Aquarium over July 4th weekend.  The kids loved the penguins, touch pool, and all the fishes.  Best part was going to the candy store =)

Lani Preschool Photos

Emma Kindergarten Play

In lieu of Kindergarten graduation, the class performed a "Jack and the Beanstalk" play.  Here's the video of the super cute play by the class

Emma - Taipei Baby Boss

One of Emma's favorite place in Taiwan was Taipei's Baby Boss.  I took Emma on the last day before we had to fly back to SF.   It's an indoor amusement park where kids can learn how to do certain jobs.  It was real Mandarin immersion.  I was afraid Emma was not going to understand what the helpers were saying but she did fantastic! All those mandarin immersion preschool and afterschool paid off =)

Emma wants to go back to Taiwan because of this place - well worth the trip!
