2016 San Mateo Eggstravaganza

This is our 4th year celebrating Easter egg hunt at San Mateo's Eggstravaganza and every year it gets a bit more crazy.  Like last year, I pre-ordered the egg hunt wristband ahead of time online so that I can avoid the line the day of.  Besides the wristband line, there was another line for getting into the baseball field for the egg hunt!  We also almost lost Lani for 5 minutes because she went to find Daddy while I was waiting on line - definitely freaked us out!!

We were joined by Emma's bffs, Rylan and Adeline (and her sister Angelina) from Empire preschool.  They had so much fun getting all the eggs!!  We had dim sum at Champagne afterward.

Special shout-out to Auntie Judy for the beautiful dresses and headbands!!  Lani said she was a princess today!

Easter Egg Hunt

This year we participated in two egg hunt.  One last weekend at San Carlos Burton Park and this weekend with Emma's preschool friends at San Mateo's Eggstravaganza.   The girls had amazing time with the egg hunt and eating the candies!

Lani - Future American Idol

Not sure if Lani will have the pipes to be on American Idol but she's definitely been practicing.  This is her with a recent cowgirl hat purchase from San Antonio and using Doc McStuffin's pressure tester as a mic.  She certainly knows how to improvise =)

Auntie Judy Visit

Auntie Judy came to visit us this past weekend and the girls loved every minute.  We did a lot of art projects, went to gymnastics, shopping at Nordstrom for new clothes and shoes and went to watch Zootopia.   We can't wait for the next visit!

Lani's First Ice Skate

We took Emma and Lani ice skating at Belmont Ice (an indoor ice skating rink that's about to close near us) last week.  Lani really wanted to try ice skating so we got skates her size and Roger took her on the ice.  She loved it!!
