Family Visit

This is the first year where we celebrated Christmas and the holidays with my side of the family.  Mom came in early and Angel, Christine and Christian arrived right before Christmas and stayed before the new year.  We went to all of their fave places including Japantown, drove through Lombard street, Galleria for some Korean food and groceries, Pier 39, and lots of food!  We learned that Christine likes Korean drama and food while Christian likes Japanese anime and sushi.

We celebrated Mom's birthday for the first time in the bay area.  We went to a little Italian restaurant in San Carlos that served delicious pasta.  We then went up to Tahoe for a bit of snow and casino fun!  We didn't need to go to any park as there were plenty of snow near the house and in the meadow close by.  We made a snowman and two Totoro.

Christmas

Christmas morning was very exciting as the girls rushed to see what Santa has bought this year!  There was a slide with a picture of their new playset (to be made by daddy dear) and two big sacks with their names on them.   Dad, mom, Mark and Racheal joined us for brunch and got right to work on the play set.

Christmas Eve

This holiday season was extra festive with my family in town.  Mom, Angel, Christine and Christian were able to celebrate with us.  We hosted Christmas Eve at our place and Roger cooked a big meal of lobster tails and prime rib.  Dad made his duck and it was so tasty Emma asked for seconds.   The kiddos were extra excited about the presents - there were a lot to open!!   Even Hoku got into the festivities with a reindeer outfit from Mark.
