Lani Walking

Lani took her first step when she was only 8 months old but since then have slowly adapted to walking.  First it was the two hand walk, gradually moving to one hand, and finally today she

LET GO!! 

It's only going to get more fun from now..here's to more walking =)

Hinamatsuri

Hinamatsuri coincides with Gong Gong's birthday so we celebrated by dressing up and having birthday cake!

Play dates with Pau Pau and Gong Gong

It was so nice to have Pau Pau and Gong Gong here.  Emma said she 'will miss them' when they left.  Hope they will come back soon!

Moss Beach - Fizgerald Marine Preserve

The weather has been fantastic!!  My dad loves seafood so we took them to the Half Moon Bay pier for live crab, uni, abalone, etc.   Along the way we would stop off the beach.  Emma must still remember her great time in Hawaii because although the water was cold, she dived right in and decided to make "water angels."

Chinese New Year Flower Market

My parents came to visit for a month to celebrate Lani's 1st year birthday but also to celebrate Chinese New Year.  We went to the Chinese New Year Flower Market in SF.  Hosted right before the new year, one is to buy flowers and get prosperity sayings for the wall.  The market was held along Grant Street and packed with stalls selling all types of products.
